Scenic drive over Vrsic Pass, Slovenia — 4K POV GoPro drive across the Julian Alps. A full, uncut car POV road drive over the highest mountain pass in Slovenia (1,611 m) and all 50 numbered hairpin bends inside Triglav National Park. 🏔️ About Vrsic Pass At 1,611 m, Vrsic is the highest road pass in Slovenia and the highest in the Eastern Julian Alps. The road was cut through the mountains in 1915–1916 as an Austro-Hungarian military supply route toward the Isonzo Front, and much of the original alignment survives today — including the cobblestone switchbacks on the northern side. The pass has 50 numbered hairpin bends: 26 on the Trenta side, 24 on the Kranjska Gora side, each marked with a blue sign showing its number and altitude. The road runs entirely inside Triglav National Park, crosses no international border, and is closed to traffic through the winter months. 🇸🇮 Countries & regions Slovenia only.
