Demo: Technics SL-1200Mk2 turntable, Volti Audio Rivals, Luxman CL-40 preamp, Luxman M900u amp

Quick demo of newly added and gently used Technics SL-1200 turntable. Using the vintage Luxman CL-40 preamp which was restored by Luxman in 2013 and sounds like a million bucks, into the M900u power amp. Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers and All the Rest” is an incredible release from 2020 and this is my first time hearing this on vinyl. The master is unquestionably superior to what I’ve heard on CD (ripped digitally to server) and may be one of the best sounding releases of the past 20 years. So good to hear Tom in the room with you.
