This video shows what a new replacement but disconnected washer fluid resevoir sensor looks like after 33 days. It appears there is NO corrosion of any type. Others have noted early corrosion with the replacement sensor as early as one month. This suggests the reason for the corrosion and loss of one tine is due to some type of current issue causing the problem when connected. I recommend you replace the existing sensor as it may leak with a new one to use as a plug, flush your washer fluid resevoir and leave the new sensor disconnected. It did not cause a "low washer fluid" telltale in the Driver Information Console (DIC) in my case.
