I took my brand new Therm-a-Rest NeoLoft sleeping mat out for a proper two-night camp in Yorkshire and after spending around 15 years with my last Therm-a-rest mat, this one seriously impressed. On the first night, I inflated it with the Flextailgear pump (slow-ish, but it worked). I forgot to fully close the “in” valve, so there was a small amount of deflation by morning — nothing major. The second night, I deflated and re-inflated it using the included pump sack, which worked faster than expected. Paired with my Fjällräven Abisko Endurance tent and the sounds of the countryside, I had the best sleep I’ve ever had in a tent. Seriously — plush, warm, quiet, and properly comfortable.
