Negli angoli di Milano - un documentario/inchiesta sui senzatetto

This film was my first experience with the documentary style. As a school project, my friend and I went around Milan trying to gather testimonies about what it means to be homeless in a big city, aiming to raise awareness about the issue. We found various people to interview using a set of prepared questions, although in the moment, we prioritized genuine conversation over sticking strictly to the script. Everything was filmed with my usual Nikon D5500, and the best part of the experience was actually being there, interviewing real people and getting to know a world so different from our own, rather than drawing conclusions based solely on articles we could have read online. That’s what made this such an impactful experience.
