KTM 150 XC-W (2025 M.Y. demo ride)

This bike is a little less powerful and torquey than the 250 and 300 XC-Ws but still enough to get the job done if you are good with the clutch and shift properly. It's a bit more work than its bigger siblings if you aren't used to a smaller engine but it's more fun to ride and improves your skills. One of my own two main bikes is a 150 (the very similar 2023 Husqvarna TE150) and I have no problems at all keeping up with my riding buddies on their 250s and 300s, including on hills. Only on the very biggest climbs such as Greens Mtn do I prefer my YZ250FX over my TE150. (But a 250 or 300 XC-W might be better than either of these for rides with big climbs if I had one.) I caught up to my brother half way through the lap on an electric KTM Freeride. This was his first time back on a dirt bike in around 8 years and I followed him for the rest of the lap.
