GMTF TAKES HEALTHCARE PUSH TO WESTERN REGION

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) has launched its nationwide regional sensitisation tour in the Western Region, taking its message of accessible specialised healthcare closer to the people. Welcoming the GMTF delegation, Western Regional Minister Hon. Joseph Nelson commended the Fund for its achievements within its first year and urged continued expansion of support for Ghanaians living with chronic diseases. The GMTF Administrator, Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, also made a strong appeal for support to construct a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Effia Nkwanta Teaching Hospital to strengthen critical-care services and save more lives. From awareness to action, GMTF is taking the healthcare conversation to every region; because no Ghanaian should be left behind.
