Start your day by giving God the worries, fears and anxious thoughts that are already weighing on your mind. If you woke up thinking about everything that could go wrong today—work, family, finances, health, relationships, decisions or circumstances you cannot control—take a few quiet moments before the day gets busy and pray with me. Worry does not have to get the first word this morning. Let God have the first word. 🙏 In this morning prayer, we will pray for: • Peace for an anxious and overthinking mind • Freedom from worry and fear • Strength for today's responsibilities • Wisdom for difficult decisions • Peace about finances, work, health and family • Protection over our minds and our day • Help releasing things we cannot control • God's presence through whatever today may bring The Bible reminds us: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6–7 KJV You do not have to carry the entire day all at once.
