FLOOS DREF RESPONSE: MONZE AND NALOLO SENANGA DISTRICTS

When floods disrupted lives and livelihoods in Monze and Nalolo, Zambia Red Cross Society, with support from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), helped affected families meet their immediate needs and begin recovering. This documentary highlights the response, which reached 1,352 households through cash assistance, essential relief items, and community engagement on hygiene and disease prevention. Beyond meeting urgent needs, these interventions supported families to regain dignity and strengthen their ability to withstand future disasters.
