I SHORTED a Makita Battery! 😱🔥 BMS Contacts Burned | 18V 5Ah Repair

his Makita 18V 5Ah battery came in for repair, but during the repair I had an unexpected short circuit that caused the BMS contacts to burn! 🔥 The battery was accidentally tilted during the work and the contacts touched, creating a short circuit. This damaged the BMS contacts and battery indicator connector, so the pack needed additional repair before it could be tested again. In this video, I show the repair process, replacement of the damaged indicator connector, BMS contact repair and the final battery test. ⚠️ WARNING: Lithium-ion batteries can be dangerous.
