Ozark NASA Oct 2026 afternoon sun and shadows

Most track days are in the summer and they usually end around 5-5:30 in the evening. In October the sun sets earlier and the shadows get darker. This is the kind of stuff endurance event, 6-24 hour races, drivers deal with but us regular track rats usually avoid. Imagine doing this for 10+ additional laps as the sun gets more and more in your face. It would be a relief to turn on your headlights and get into the real darkness.
