I wanted an ESCAPE, and that's when I cancelled my return ticket and booked a bus for Shoja, and the rest is a story to be told:) I thought that this journey would be easy, but very soon I realized how challenging it was becoming. From waiting for 3 hours for my first HRTC ride, only to find out that getting a seat inside the bus was another challenge, to finally reaching Shoja with no plans — everything felt like a part of the adventure. Exploring this hidden gem of Himachal, meeting new people, making unexpected friendships, discovering the peaceful village life, and walking through the beautiful forest trails made this solo trip even more memorable. The Shoja Waterfall Trek was my first real adventure here — a journey through nature, snow-covered paths, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes that reminded me why I chose to escape in the first place.
