Super Unemployed, Very Unserious, and Slightly Unbothered | Video Diary | Entry #1

Hi slores! I've been making YouTube videos inconsistently for almost 5 years, and a recent layoff, muddled with the fickleness of the job market, has given me an IDGAF attitude about this internet s%*#. In this space of unemployment and uncertainty, I've challenged myself to embrace authenticity by documenting my unfiltered life in this awkward phase of being forced into my becoming, in spite of my circumstances. I'm interested to see what happens when I throw caution to the wind, remain vulnerable, and relinquish the fear of being perceived. I'm Joa, and welcome to Joa Unfiltered. This is my visual diary, and you're watching entry #1. It's a little chaotic and unserious. Still getting the hang of vlogging and remembering to record aspects of my life, so there are definitely missing pieces, but that's what makes this fun. Here's to improving over time.
