Scrapped Barotrauma Animation: The Swarm

This was a fan animation based off of the game Barotrauma, which is owned by FakeFish, Undertow Games, and Daedalic Entertainment. Get the game here https://store.steampowered.com/app/60... Right after making "The Parasite" in 2023 I started working on a much longer more ambitious project. Aptly named "The Swarm" this animation would follow a crews first encounter with a Watcher and some newly mind controlled Tiger Threshers. The Project turned out to be way too much for me to handle, and due to my inexperience working with the .blend file became an absolute nightmare. After about a year of work off and on, I had a little over 4 minutes to show for it. With how hard the project was to work with, and how long it was taking I ultimately decided to scrap it as I was no longer enjoying making it. I ended up making "The Nest" instead, and that went much smoother as I've learned a lot about handling bigger projects after this experience. Still though, I was always kinda sad I had all these shots just sitting on my hardrive, so I've finally gotten around to sharing them now. I do hope you were able to enjoy it, even if it is an unfinished slice of what the whole thing would've been. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | MUSIC | Barotrauma OST: Extraterrestrial Broadcast:    • Barotrauma OST: Extraterrestrial Broadcast   Barotrauma OST: Wartrauma:    • Barotrauma OST: Wartrauma
