“The Backyardigans” (Theme Song) - Cover by Claire Aimée Spencer

Hello, my beautiful fairies! I wanted to do a quick tribute to one of my favorite nostalgic television shows. I watched this show at least up until middle school. I loved this cartoon that much and I wanted to honor it in some way. Let me know if you want me to do more cartoon theme song covers in the future! The main reason I covered this song is because the creator of "The Backyardigans", Janice Burgess, passed away at the age of 72 this week. "The Backyardigans" was a very important show to me growing up and I watched it well until middle school. The charming songs, goofy characters, and imaginative writing were good then and they're still good now as an adult. I hope Janice's creative and comforting show and her efforts always get remembered and appreciated by children and grown-ups alike. Rest in peace, Janice. Thank you for creating my childhood.
