Offroad Trails Ohio: Stone Quarry and Bat Nest Road sponsored by TORCH Off Road

Sometimes the best trails are the ones at your own doorstep! Today, follow five very different vehicles as we tackle Stone Quarry and Bat Nest Roads in Ohio. Stone Quarry includes Fed Ex hill, so named for the fact that a GPS service used to route delivery vehicles through the area, and they often needed rescued off of the hill. Bat Nest may be a short trail, but it recently made news in Ohio when a new adjacent landowner applied to vacate the unmaintained roadway. Thankfully, the offroad and adventure bike community showed up in force and helped the local commissioners decide not to vacate it...this time. Our trip through the area shows that some people just don't know what NOT to do when driving a trail, and next time we may not succeed in saving a few miles of trail.
