A Very Muddy and Epic Bike Packing Adventure. "The Fosbury Loop". Planet X Bootzipper, Wiltshire Man

Early April and the weather is just starting to warm a little but on this adventure it still felt like Winter. I planned a rout using Komoot that I called "The Fosbury loop" : https://www.komoot.com/tour/1505511450 The ride is around 60 miles and can comfortably be done in less than 2 days. Good fitness and bike handling are a must as the ride takes in some pretty steep hills and fast single tracks. Best to pack light for this one! My bike for this adventure was the PlanetX Bootzipper which is a hard tail mountain bike, ideal for the rough and muddy terrain, it's steel frame is strong and can take the shocks and loads. I added a suspension seat post which cushioned me from most of the rough terrain. Navigation was via my Garmin Edge explore 2 Tent was a Terra nova laser competion Stove was a Click stand with Ti pot and trangia burner
