Minesweeper Lesson 14 - Proof By Contradiction & Convergence

Aka: how to win every game of minesweeper (w/o guesses) This is and will be arguably the most important video of the entire series (besides the game explanation intro), as contradiction and "convergence" -- a term I coined -- form the backbone of all logic and patterns. Internalizing these systems would be akin to one discovering the existence of atoms and particles. You subconsciously understand these two systems if you have learned the logic behind any pattern. In this video, we examine how to generally/systematically apply them to any situation, no matter its complexity. I admittedly had some difficulty formalizing the systems in a simple way, which is why this video is very application-based. At least for convergence, it may help to ingrain the word "overlap" into your head, as convergence is like layering multiple images together to find certain areas (or one area) that is the same. This is mainly due to the combination of starting university and my computer breaking three times over the past year, as I lost all of my progress each time, and really lost motivation to restart everything each time. It definitely didn't help that this is the densest video of the series and probably will be for a while. I have since learned to back up all of my files in google docs to avoid this. :p So, I deeply thank you if you've stuck around, and there is plenty more planned for the future! :D
