St Helens are drawn to play third division Trafford Borough at Knowsley Road in Rugby League's Lancashire Cup during the 1991/92 season. Trafford are given a 50 point plus start by the bookies for this fixture but there is a sense that there could be many more points rattled up than that... Almost all the entire team, including subsititues, scored in this one with Phil Veivers, Jon Neil and John Harrison the ones to miss out though Anthony Sullivan did cash in on the hiding claiming a hat trick form the subs bench. This blowout proved to be the perfect catalyst for St Helens' tournament run.
