A Gentle Ride Along The National Railway Museum's Model Railway | Slow TV

In a departure from normal proceedings we are slowing things right down and taking ride on our model railway which runs seven days a week. Get yourself a cup of tea and your favourite biscuit and relax into this driver's-eye view from the cab of our model LMS Fowler 3F 0-6-0T locomotive—also known as ‘Jinty’. If slow TV isn't for you, come back next time for a more in-depth exploration where you will meet all the characters who make our model railway run. From the rolling stock to the blades of grass we really get into the weeds of the wonderful world of railway modelling. This episode was filmed at the National Railway Museum in York.
