Two Years Ago, I Brought This Tiny Kitten Home

Two years ago (Sep 6, 2024), I rescued Missy, a tiny 2-month-old kitten, from a parking garage — and this is what her very first day in her new home looked like. 🥹🐱💙 To celebrate two years since Missy came into our lives, I’m sharing mostly never-before-seen footage from her first day at home. She was scared at first, meowing nervously and taking everything in with those huge, curious eyes. But it didn't take long for her fear to disappear. ❤️ Missy quickly discovered toys, started playing with my hand, and showed us her adventurous personality. She even climbed right up my legs and onto my shoulder — and looking back, that was probably the first sign that she was going to grow into a top-class climber! 😹🌳 Meanwhile, my other cats were just as curious about the tiny newcomer. Happy, Mamita, Petit and my beloved late cat Jerry all got to meet little Missy on that very first day. One of my favorite moments is Missy playing a little game of hide and seek with Jerry. ❤️ It makes this footage especially precious today, knowing that Jerry is no longer with us. And after all that excitement — exploring her new home, playing, climbing and meeting her new family — little Missy finally ran out of energy and fell asleep right next to her new toy. 🥹💤 From a frightened kitten alone in a parking garage to a beloved member of our family… it’s hard to believe that two years have already passed. Happy 2nd rescue anniversary, Missy. ❤️ 🎥 Watch Missy’s original rescue story:    • Welcome Home, Little One: A Rescue Kitten'...   #RescueKitten #KitteRescue #RescueCat #CatRescue #CuteKitten #FirstDayHome #CatLife #RescueStory Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @petittheblackcat
