Welcome to Swarup's khoj yatra 🌏! In this episode of our Pujo Porikroma series, we take you inside the serene and spiritually elevated campus of Belur Math to witness the timeless tradition of Kumari Puja on Maha Ashtami. Belur Math stands as a profound center where the purest essence of Hindu Sanatan tradition is faithfully preserved and practiced. A central pillar of Sanatan philosophy is the deep reverence and highest respect accorded to women—honoring feminine energy (Shakti) as divine, nurturing, and pure. Through the sacred ritual of Kumari Puja, originally initiated here by Swami Vivekananda in 1901, a young girl is worshipped as the living manifestation of Goddess Durga. This video captures the solemn rituals, devotional atmosphere, and vibrant energy of this sacred celebration. In this video, you will experience: The devotional morning atmosphere at Belur Math The traditional rituals of Kumari Puja The philosophical message of honoring womanhood in Sanatan tradition If you enjoyed experiencing this spiritual journey with us, please make sure to Like, Share, and Subscribe to Swarup's khoj yatra 🌏 for more journeys through our rich culture, heritage, and sacred festivals. ⏱️ Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction & Belur Math Ambience 02:00 - Puja Sankalpa & Vedic Chants (পূজা সংকল্প ও বৈদিক মন্ত্রোচ্চারণ) 07:30 - Shuddhi & Asana Rituals (শুদ্ধি ও আসন সংস্কার) 12:20 - Prana Pratishtha & Matrika Mantra (প্রাণ প্রতিষ্ঠা) 17:30 - Dhyan Mantra & Manasa Puja (ধ্যান ও মানস পূজা) 21:55 - Kumari Avahanam (কুমারী মার আবাহন) 24:50 - Shodashopachara Puja & Offerings (ষোড়শ উপাচারে পূজা ও নিবেদন) 29:40 - Pushpamalya & Dhupa-Deepa (পুষ্পমাল্য, ধূপ ও দীপ প্রদর্শন) 33:45 - Tarpana & Pushpanjali (তর্পণ ও ভক্তদের পুষ্পাঞ্জলি) 38:30 - Maha Aarti of Kumari Ma (কুমারী মার মহা আরতি) 43:10 - Dakshina & Samapani Mantras (দক্ষিণা ও সমাপনী মন্ত্র) 45:00 - Jayadhwani & Concluding Blessings (জয়ধ্বনি ও সমাপ্তি) Hashtags: #BelurMath #KumariPuja #DurgaPuja #SanatanTradition #WomenInSanatan #SwarupsKhojYatra #MahaAshtami #IndianCulture
