Hidden Paradise of Kerala! 🌿 Ponmudi Travel Vlog | Exploring Western Ghats

Welcome back to a brand new travel vlog! 🌿 ​In today's video, we are taking you to one of the most magical and breathtaking hidden gems of Kerala—Ponmudi! ​Located just about 55-60 kilometers (a scenic 2-hour drive) from Trivandrum, Ponmudi is an absolute paradise that surprisingly stays away from massive crowds. If you are looking for untouched nature and pure tranquility, this is the place to be! ​As we drove up from Vithura, the journey itself became a core memory. On the way, we witnessed lush green rubber plantations (where we caught a glimpse of interesting rubber tapping!), sprawling tea gardens, and mesmerizing misty valleys. ​For our stay, we booked the KTDC Golden Peak Resort. Fun fact: there are only government properties available for stay here, meaning zero over-commercialization, no heavy crowds, and absolute peace with nature! The food at the resort was exceptionally delicious and comforting. ​Once we reached the top, the views of the Golden Peak left us spellbound. Little Meera even enjoyed a fun little trek, and the kids had the absolute time of their lives playing and exploring. We also watched a fun 3D movie there, which added a cute surprise element to the trip! ​We have recently relocated to Kerala and will be living here for the next three years.
