Say It With Your Chest

Some people have plenty to say until you’re standing right in front of them. Say It With Your Chest is a hard-hitting country-rock track about cheap talk, borrowed courage, and the difference between running your mouth from the shadows and owning your words when the room gets real. This one brings out the confrontational side of Rider Chesson. Gritty country-rock guitars, lead banjo, slap bass punch, dry drums, rough vocals, and a hook built for anyone who has ever thought, “Don’t get quiet now.” It is not about starting a fight. It is about calling out the kind of person who talks loud when you are not there, then folds up small when they have to say it properly. Part of Backroads & Bad Decisions, a living collection of Rider Chesson songs, rough cuts, visual pieces, and stories from the road.
