CUNNING MC | Grime, Bassline & UKG | Heart of Cardiff Ep. 3

on Heart of Cardiff. He's spent years at the front of UK bass — main stages at Boomtown, Boardmasters and Reading & Leeds, touring the world with Sammy Virji, Oppidan, MPH and Hamdi since before covid. 20 million viral views and over 800,000 Spotify streams in six months. A Slazenger freestyle that got nods from Drake and A$AP Rocky. One of the most recognisable MCs in modern UK dance music. And now it's all under his own name. The That Guy From The Thing EP is out — his first body of work as an artist in his own right, carrying everything those years on the road put into it. In his words, all that work "enabled me to learn my craft and find my sound and identity as my own entity." He sold out his debut show headline show in London and has no plans to stop! His live set at DIFF Radio is out now on the channel. Heart of Cardiff — filmed conversations with artists from across the UK, recorded in Cardiff at DIFF Radio.
