How to Make Money as a Yoga Teacher | Money Mindset, Self-Belief & Abundance

Can you really make a good living as a yoga teacher? And what might be getting in the way of you earning more? In this video, we explore money samskaras, self-belief, self-worth and abundance—and how our subconscious beliefs about money can influence the way we build our yoga businesses. Because making more money as a yoga teacher isn't only about pricing, marketing or finding more students. Sometimes, the biggest blocks are internal. We can carry deeply rooted beliefs about money, work and success from our upbringing, our experiences and the stories we've absorbed throughout our lives: "I have to work hard to earn money." "I have to work more to earn more." "I can't make good money doing something I love." "Helping people and making money don't go together." "Money is difficult to come by." These beliefs can quietly shape the way we price our work, receive money, promote our offerings and decide what's possible for us. In yoga philosophy, samskaras are patterns or impressions that influence how we think, feel and behave. When we become aware of these patterns, we create the possibility of choosing something different. And this isn't just about financial abundance. Abundance can look like more time, energy, creativity, inspiration, rest, opportunities, freedom and feeling supported—even when you're not working. Don't overthink it. What did you learn about money growing up? What did you see and hear about work, wealth and success? What do you believe you have to do to earn money? Then ask yourself: What would I choose to believe instead? You can begin creating a new money story—one that reflects the way you actually want to work, live, receive and contribute. And remember: your desired income needs a business model behind it.
