Full-Immersion Area Rug Washing

Ever wonder what goes into professionally washing an area rug? At The Rug Salon, we specialize in full immersion rug washing at our dedicated rug cleaning facility in Palm Desert, California, serving the entire Coachella Valley. Unlike traditional surface cleaning, our full immersion washing process allows us to thoroughly clean rugs by flushing out embedded dirt, dust, allergens, and contaminants trapped deep within the fibers. Our Professional Rug Washing Process: 1. Pre-Inspection: Every rug is carefully inspected to identify its fiber type, construction, condition, stains, and specific cleaning requirements. 2. Dusting: We use specialized rug dusting equipment to remove dry soil, sand, and debris before washing. 3. Full Immersion Washing: Rugs suitable for immersion are thoroughly washed using professional equipment, specialized cleaning solutions, and controlled water flow to remove deeply embedded contaminants. 4. Rinsing: We thoroughly rinse the rug to remove loosened soil and cleaning solution residue. 5. Water Extraction: Excess water is removed using professional extraction equipment to reduce drying time. 6. Controlled Drying: After washing, rugs are transferred to our dedicated drying room, where they are hung to promote airflow throughout the fibers. Our controlled drying process helps prevent trapped moisture, musty odors, and prolonged drying times. 7. Final Inspection & Grooming: Once completely dry, each rug is inspected, groomed, and prepared for delivery. Why Choose The Rug Salon? We specialize in cleaning Oriental rugs, Persian rugs, wool rugs, synthetic rugs, handmade rugs, and everyday area rugs. Every rug receives a cleaning process tailored to its unique construction and fiber type. 📍 Located in Palm Desert, California Serving Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, Cathedral City, and the entire Coachella Valley.
