For decades residents of Marsabit and Moyale had a difficult time travelling to Nairobi. The treacherous road network meant that the journey would sometimes even take 3 days. However the North is no longer cut off by the bad road network after months of rehabilitation from Merille to the border point between Kenya and Moyale.
