The Episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer That Make It Special

In this video we will be going over the fun halloween-y and bite-sized episodes of one of my favorite shows, Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The episodes that not only can serve as good introductions for those new to the series, but also as nuggets for those of us who don’t have time to devote to a full rewatch but still want a snack every now and then. - Chapters: 00:00:00 Intro 00:00:35 Hey, I'm Hound 00:02:42 The "Problem(s)" with TV Shows 00:06:05 What Makes Buffy Special 00:11:42 Season One 00:14:05 S1E01 & S1E02 Welcome to the Hellmouth / The Harvest 00:16:26 S1E10 Nightmares 00:17:51 S1E12 Prophecy Girl 00:19:51 Season One Honorable Mentions 00:20:26 Season Two 00:21:35 S2E03 School Hard 00:23:53 S2E06 Halloween 00:26:54 S2E15 Phases 00:32:02 Season Two Honorable Mentions 00:34:12 Season Three 00:35:26 S3E06 Band Candy 00:37:34 S3E08 Lovers Walk 00:40:06 S3E16 Doppelgangland 00:43:22 S3E20 The Prom 00:47:06 Season Three Honorable Mentions 00:48:26 Season Four 00:50:00 S4E04 Fear, Itself 00:53:16 S4E09 Something Blue 00:56:32 S4E10 Hush 01:00:03 Season Four Honorable Mentions 01:01:45 Season Five 01:03:37 S5E01 Buffy vs Dracula 01:07:01 S5E07 Fool for Love 01:10:03 Season Five Honorable Mentions 01:11:31 Season Six 01:12:40 S6E07 Once More, With Feeeling 01:15:54 S6E08 Tabula Rasa 01:19:26 Season Six Honorable Mentions 01:20:50 Season Seven 01:22:11 S7E03 Same Time, Same Place 01:25:20 S7E16 Storyteller 01:30:25 Season Seven Honorable Mentions 01:31:30 Looking over the list 01:32:11 Closing Thoughts 01:34:46 Outro - As usual, tons of things I wanted to do different or outright change, overall displeasure with pace of writing and speech at times, wishing I tied the overall theme a bit tighter, and things I had to leave on the cutting room floor (buffy movie, angel episodes), as well as hellacious crunch resulting in almost two weeks straight of 14+ hours per day, and I only just barely made the deadline. I was finished on time to be far, but rendering issues and surprising auto-claims from youtube made me pull 22 hours straight just to get it re-edited re-rendered and re-uploaded. Cause whats the point of a halloween episode that comes out on november 1st? So the weird border + vhs overlay and if you notice jarring and random slow-mo or freeze frames, that’s because of the youtube thing. And the artifacts are from not having time to fully re-render. Nevertheless, I hope at least someone enjoys the video.
