We have entered the Ten Days of Awe—the sacred window between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Pastor Steve unpacks why God’s appointed times (the Moedim) still matter for every believer, how the Hebrew year 5787 speaks of the power of the mouth and of completion and holiness, and why Rosh Hashanah is literally “the feast no man knows the day or the hour.” These days are not optional tradition; they are God’s calendar for realignment.
Teshuvah is the call of this season: return, declutter, and realign tongue, mind, and heart with the Word. It is not shame or striving; it is reconnecting to the Lord so we can stand ready before a holy God. Jesus has already fulfilled the atoning sacrifice of Yom Kippur. Now is the time to forgive, to be forgiven, and to prepare our lives for what God is about to do.
