We’re told to romanticize our lives, treat the world like our personal stage, and view other people as mere extras in our story. But here’s the unpopular truth: when you treat everyone else like a background actor, you end up starring in a very empty movie. Self-obsession doesn't bring peace; it just breeds isolation. If we want to model our lives after Christ, we have to flip the script. Jesus had every right to demand center stage, but He chose the role of a servant. He washed feet, healed the broken, and gave up His life for others. True purpose isn't found in holding the spotlight—it’s found in shining it on someone else.
