Each adset has 10 ads. In most cases, your attribution window should be 1-day click to prevent over-attribution. You set the bid cap at the cost per conversion you’re targeting in Facebook. Now, it is crucial to understand that a bid cap adset is designed to spend ad dollars, on the ad with the highest ROI. The adset does not care whether that ad is new, old, or ugly. It just cares about ROI. And so should you. This is why when you’re creative testing, and I got this for Andrew Ferris, shoutout because it works like a charm, you need to include your current winner. That way the new ads you’re testing are competing with your current winner, and will only get spend if Facebook calculates that the new winner has an even better ROI than your current winner. This is what you want. The best ROI for your ad dollar. You don’t care what ad that is. Yes, this works at $100,000+/month in ad spend and more. Over the lifetime of the campaign, provided you give it the right assets and let it run, the cost per acquisition turns out to be below the target bid cap. Hit subscribe if you value this content.
