Join me on a bus journey from Chișinău in Moldova to Iași in Romania, filmed through the window of the bus in April 2026. 🌿🏘️ According to the map, the journey should have taken only around 2½ hours. In reality, it took considerably longer! The main reason was the two separate border control procedures – first on the Moldovan side 🇲🇩 and then again on the Romanian side 🇷🇴. While the border crossings added quite a bit of time to the journey, they were also an interesting part of travelling between these two neighbouring countries. (However, that was not filmed. I didn't want to risk anything at the border.)
