Denmark is a coastal town located on Wilson Inlet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, 423 kilometres south-east of the state capital of Perth. Here, you will find stunning beaches, beautiful rolling hills, towering forests, quality wineries, and a thriving art scene.
Denmark was established on the Denmark River by Europeans in 1895 as a timber mill town. As timber resources dwindled, fishing, fruit and vegetable growing, and beef and dairy farming became the economic mainstay. Tourism and winemaking are currently Denmark’s growth industries.
