DEEP BASSY MOTOR! Schindler Freight Elevator - Nordstrom, Westfield Valley Fair Mall - San Jose, CA

[Recorded 1-15-22] This is the freight elevator at this store. It's a Schindler with Adams fixtures. Unlike the passenger elevators which are traction, this freight elevator (and the service elevator next to it) are hydraulic. Like most Nordstrom stores, this one has a secret middle stockroom level that is only served by the freight elevator and you would not even be able to tell there was another floor from the main store. The motor on this thing is so deep! This elevator also has my favorite PEELLE door sensors that drop down from the bottom of the gate. Idk why but I love the clicks they make when they come down when the gate opens and the clack they make when they hit the floor when the gate closes. Also before you ask, no I didn't ride the service elevator next to it. It's just a Schindler with Adams Survivor VR.
