Lost Family Survives a Blizzard in a Lonely Grandma’s Turf-Roof House | Ghibli Survival

🏡 🏡 STORY #GhibliSurvival #GhibliAnimation #StoneHouseBlizzard Lost in a fierce North Atlantic blizzard in the Faroe Islands, 1890, a young family with a 9-month-old baby searches for shelter as the snow buries every mountain path. At dusk they find the lonely stone house of an elderly widow, save her freezing old pony, and repair her broken door and turf-roofed walls by hand. When the midnight gale tears open the roof, the whole family fights to hold it down, until a quiet, warm morning brings breakfast together by the fire.
