In Zhatang Monastery, Shannan, Tibet, I originally just passed by—but unexpectedly encountered the annual Wangguo Festival. “Wangguo” means circling the fields, celebrating the promise of harvest. But here, it is more than an agricultural ritual—it feels like a collective celebration of joy and faith. Monks, villagers, children, and elders walk together carrying scriptures, burning incense, singing and dancing from dawn to dusk. That day, I chose to stay. This video is not only about harvest—but also about the quiet bond between people and the land. 1:33 Intro|意外停下的那一天 3:08 The Monastery Awakens|寺庙开始苏醒 5:59 The Long Walk|巡田的队伍 12:21 Return & Silence|归来与静默 1:33 A Day I Didn’t Leave 3:08 The Monastery Comes Alive 5:59 Walking the Fields of Blessing 12:21 Return Into Silence
