I Just Wanted To Finish One Page

I started out trying to make a simple video about how I use photo reference while starting the first page of my new graphic novel. Instead it took me over a month to finish one page. Between work, two kids, no sleep, and now a painful injury, finding time to sit down at the desk and get some drawing time in has been harder than expected. So this video became about something else entirely: figuring out how to keep making comics when life gets in the way. You don’t always get big blocks of time. But take what you can get. Every minute counts. ———————————————————————————————— 📖 Read my comics: https://maxriffner.com ✉️ Join my newsletter: https://buttondown.com/maxriffner ❤️ Join us on Patreon:   / maxriffner   ———————————————————————————————— I make quiet videos about creating graphic novels, comics, and the creative process.
