In June 1931, Adolph Ruth, a 66-year-old man from Washington, D.C., walked into Arizona's Superstition Mountains with a map he believed would lead to the Lost Dutchman's gold. Six months later, his skull was found on Bluff Springs Mountain, with two holes in it.
