At 2:56 a.m. on April 16, 2022, 24-year-old Felicia Johnson left a Houston hotel and got into a car. Hours later, her phone was found beside a road near Bear Creek Pioneers Park, covered in blood. She was never seen alive again.
The first story said she got into a stranger's car. The Uber ride record said otherwise. According to charging documents, the man who ordered it was Chukwuebuka Nwobodo. Houston police took him into custody on May 13, 2022, then released him without charges. Twenty-seven days later, he was named in a murder warrant.
Nearly ten months after she vanished, her remains were found in Sam Houston National Forest. Why was he let go? And where is he now?
This is the Felicia Johnson case: the missing San Diego woman, the Houston investigation, and an open murder warrant.
Disclaimer: This video is based on public records, police statements and news reporting. Nwobodo is charged, not convicted, and is presumed innocent unless a court finds otherwise. Viewer discretion is advised.
