On the 12-13 Aug 2025, AccessCR hosted a virtual Awards event to showcase and celebrate excellence in consumer partnership and participant experience in health and medical research in Australia.
This event provided a unique platform for showcasing the contributions and impact of consumers to research. Though there are Award winners, in our view, every story, every action, is a step in the right direction to fully embedding the consumer voice in research.
The platinum sponsor was Bellberry Limited (https://bellberry.com.au/). Please see the opening session for information on all the event sponsors and supporters.
This video captures the Finalists Presentations for Category F - Outstanding Consumer Advisory Group Impact on Health and Medical Research.
Session Moderator: Brigitte Sigl
Finalists Teams:
• Sydney Health Partners' Consumer Advisory Group
• The PLATIPUS Lived Experience Committee
• The SNAP Trial Consumer Reference Group
• VCCC Alliance Cancer Consumer Advisory Committee
The rest of the Finals day consisted of an opening session + Keynote, and presentations by finalists in 2 other categories:
• A - Excellence in Consumer Partnership in Non-Commercial Research
• C - Excellence in Consumer Partner Capacity Building
Presentations were judged, and winners were announced on the 13th August, in another online session.
