Enjoying OUR FIRST CORN 🌽 and MILK 🥛 From Our Farm in El Salvador. Farm Update!

Something we've been waiting for has finally happened… we harvested our first corn ever from our own farm in El Salvador! ❤️ And what's really interesting is that we planted our corn in three different sections at different times, so we're actually seeing three different stages right now. 🌽 One section is already drying and getting ready for harvest. 🌽 The second section is producing beautiful, perfect corn right now. 🌽 And the third section should be ready in just a few days or about a week! But farm life isn't always easy. 🐄 We haven't been getting as much rain as we need, which means the grass isn't growing fast enough for the cows. Until the rain comes and the grass grows again, we're having to bring food to the cows three times every day. They get corn, Cuba 22 grass, Mombasa grass and other grass, and while it's a lot of work for us, we want to make sure our cows have enough food. We only allow the cows to graze in certain sections of the property and around the house because we also have to protect our corn and fruit trees.
