Spent a beautiful day visiting the little town of Wakefield, Quebec. Wakefield is just a quick 30 minute drive from Ottawa, Ontario, which makes for a beautiful day trip if you are visiting Ottawa. It is in the center of an area that is well known by outdoor enthusiasts for its hiking trails and water sports. Wakefield is also where the La Pêche River meets up with the Gatineau River. The town also has a number small cafes, pubs, and galleries to enjoy.
