THE CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER WEDS THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER ✨ Some love stories begin at an airport. Saranya and Sowmith’s story began at Dubai airport, when two strangers from India crossed paths while transiting to the USA for their master’s. Eight years later, strangers became friends, friends became best friends, and eventually, each other’s forever. Sowmith is the calm to Saranya’s confident energy, the one who makes even the impossible sound possible. While the world sees Sowmith as composed and calm, Saranya discovered his goofy, silly side and fell even deeper. They even have their own little hierarchy: Saranya, the “Chief Experience Officer,” and Sowmith, the “Chief Executive Officer.” And if they had to do it all over again, Saranya says they would always choose each other and every step that brought them here. Their cozy Seattle wedding by a beautiful barn with a pond and fountain was surrounded by their closest family and friends. One of the most emotional moments was Saranya walking down the aisle with her mother, holding her father’s photograph; his presence felt deeply as they carried his love and blessings into the mandap. As they begin this new chapter, they promise to hold each other’s fort. And, according to Saranya, as long as Sowmith keeps making her coffee every morning, he’s safe!
