DESCO Trawlers

A visit with Capt. Jenkins. He lives adjacent to the property where DESCO marine and later Luhrs manufactured vessels. The property is changing, as needs change in St. Augustine, Florida. Shipbuilding of this type will more than likely not be seen on this scale again in the United States. The company motto of "The Sun never sets on a DESCO boat" shows the significance of these trawlers on a global scale.
