I purchased my Eddyline Sitka LT kayak in April of 2024, and enjoyed paddling it for the past three summer seasons. I loved the boat, it’s was wonderful to paddle, lightweight, fast, and capable of carrying a lot of camping gear. But next month I will be seventy-two years old, and have been having increasing difficulty getting in and out of the Sitka. So, I made the difficult decision to sell it and purchase a new boat. Just wanted a boat that I could easily take a few miles to the local lake or river for a few hours of peaceful paddling. This video describes why I chose the Hurricane Osprey 120, and shows my first time out on the water with it. These brief narratives describe events from my youth, college years, career, and current-day life in retirement ranging from flipping baseball cards, the arrival of the ice cream man on the street, observations of the natural world, and contemplating what is true and meaningful in this life. All are thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing and insightful reading. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M8DS4QM My trips, equipment, and videos are not sponsored by any manufacturer or person, nor have I received gifts or products for review.
