「EMS」Dedication Project || Thank You, EMS Family

Hello, everyone! Welcome to EMS' secret project! Hints were given in our server and some of you got really close to guessing what this project was about. Well, you don't have to guess anymore. I'm here to tell you all about it. This is a members/leaders appreciation project and a gift to EMS' most active members. It was an idea that came to me last year and I was hoping I'd have the chance to make happen before the end of 2020. I know this has been quite a rough year for everyone so as months kept passing, I was even more convinced it'd be a good idea. Unfortunately, the other two leaders couldn't participate through editing in this but they encouraged me a lot and watched most of the edits in this little project. Of course, I didn't let them watch the one that was dedicated to them. Initially, this would be uploaded on Christmas but I managed to finish it a month early. Therefore, I chose Thanksgiving because it seemed like an appropriate day. I'm grateful to all of you. I'm grateful and thankful for all the members that left...the ones that are still here...and the ones that will come. Also, for Bakura ;) I know it's hard to edit with a media that doesn't have an update. We were lucky to get DSOD but will we ever get another movie or even a remaster? Who knows? Still, we're all here. We still create beautiful projects. And I'm absolutely delighted by this fact! So, thank you, EMS family! Thank you for all your hard work and all your creativity! Let me give you something back for your contribution to this studio that has been so special to me since the very beginning. Also, let me introduce to you something that I hope will become an annual thing: the most active members dedication project! I've been keeping tabs on all members' parts count from the first MEP to Dust Till Dawn. It took me quite a while to write everything down and eventually I ended up keeping a copy of only the members that are still part of the studio (so if you are still a member and want to know your statistics message me) and then I kept a record of how many parts each of you have completed this year. One of the leaders joked I should create a dedication part of myself as I'm the most active in the studio but that idea was shot down :P Instead, I went with the next three most active members and then made them four since there was a tie there. Each of these members got a mini-AMV with their favorite ship. The edits vary in length based on the song's or ship's difficulty. Initially, I wanted them all to be around 30 seconds but some ideas were more complicated than others. Let me introduce you to our most active members. AnimeBabeXX    / animebabexx   A puppyshipping edit for the puppyshipping Queen. You know I'm in love with anything related to the ocean so I decided to go with this song and a dark oceanic theme. I quickly realized that maybe the theme wasn't the best for your ship but dropping the project was a no-no for me. Thank you for your hard work and always being willing to do a back-up part! Your enthusiasm and love for this studio is one of the many things I love about you. PHYLASVELL    / @phylasvell   Believe me, Rhi. You won't see me trying something similar again. I still cannot believe these two appear together only once in the whole manga and that's when Mai is unconscious. They do look nice together, though. I cannot believe it's only last year that you've joined EMS. You must be our new back-up girl; always ready to take an extra part before we even think of asking for a backup. Thank you for supporting and loving EMS so much! Star Boots    / @starboots   Another new member of ours. You also joined EMS around the same time Rhi did and we were happy to have you. Your style keeps changing and we are all excited to see what you'll create next. You and I have discussed ships sometimes and since you like crossovers, crack ships and Danganronpa so much, and joined us when we had our Crossover MEP, I decided a crossover would be the perfect idea for you. Your mini-AMV was the first I completed actually. Thank you for joining us and your hard work.
