I like to think I look at anime for what it is rather than for what I want it to be. This channel specializes in high-effort manga essays, about whatever I watched recently. It doesn't have to be very cult or recent. I quite enjoy retro anime breakdowns, and shining a dark spotlight on the most underrated or obscure anime that the algorithm left behind. I am a Crest of the Stars fan, so I'll be pissed forever. Whether we’re analyzing the golden era of shonen and shojo, dissecting the psychological reality of otaku malaise. We treat weird, edgy, and ecchi anime with the structural respect of high-art cinema. Or at least that's what I'd like to try? You don't have to sanitize a hobby to like something.
