The Price To Pay For A 5th Starter | An OKC Thunder Dilemma

#NBA #OklahomaCityThunder #OKCThunder #NBAhighlights The OKC Thunder are still one of the best teams in the league and while the NBA's new rule is coming for SGA, the Thunder might still be the favorite to win the championship this upcoming season. OKC has been one the most interesting teams this summer despite losing to Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in the Conference Finals. Thunder GM Sam Presti has been able to create a Thunder roster that could once again compete for an NBA title with him keeping their best players in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren, all while having a strong supporting cast. The team had to trade Lu Dort to the Atlanta Hawks, as well as core reserves Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins but the Thunder still have Isaiah Hartenstein, Alex Caruso, Ajay Mitchell, and Cason Wallace who will be the potential 5th starter for OKC next season. The Thunder still have to agree on a contract extension with Cason Wallace and soon Ajay Mitchell, but as it appears, OKC is still going to be one of the deepest teams in the NBA next season. The Thunder didn't make any huge splashes in free agency or in the trade market this offseason unlike teams like Miami Heat with the Giannis trade, the Philadelphia 76ers with the LeBron James and Jaylen Brown acquisitions, the Denver Nuggets with DeMar DeRozan or the Raptors trade for Kawhi Leonard, but OKC is still primed to be the NBAs next dynasty with their combination of core players, multiple draft assets, as well as elite front office management. But can they keep their 5th starter to have a shot at defeating Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs? .
