Remember the Surf. This was their first year. Hard to gain a foothold when the Aztecs were established, Both teams were bad in 78 and this away match in NY against the Cosmos is just off the charts brilliant. Peak Cosmos was 78 and Giorgio and Beckenbauer played and even my friend Steve David played for the Surf. He got out of LA. What a player in 77 for the Aztecs.
